Markus Adick has been working in complex criminal and tax proceedings for almost two decades. He advises and defends clients in particularly sensitive situations where legal, economic and reputational aspects are closely linked. He is particularly well known throughout Germany for his expertise in criminal tax law.
His professional career includes working in the criminal law practice of a leading international commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main and in a renowned tax law firm in Bonn. He has been running his own law firm as an independent criminal defence lawyer and corporate lawyer for over ten years.
Dr Adick studied law in Passau, Freiburg and Osnabrück and received his doctor of law degree in 2009 with a thesis on the criminal liability of board members for breach of trust. He is the author of numerous articles in legal commentaries, handbooks and specialist journals. He has also published guest articles in publications such as the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) and is consulted as an expert by leading business media such as WirtschaftsWoche.
